Following the re-launch of our new Melbourne showroom now in Burnley St Richmond, Eco Outdoor is previewing a brand new product line of Italian artisan cotto.
A longstanding partnership with Italian architects and stone supplier Sannini saw the introduction of a new range of modern Italian cotto last year used by the likes of Mario Botta, Renzo Piano and Grimshaw Architects. In contrast to the highly engineered Sannini product, our latest cotto range takes this raw material back to basics. This cotto is hand-made in a small kiln by an Italian artisan family who have been making it for generations.
We believe that product materials play an important role in providing a sensory and tactile experience for architecture. In this case, the artisan skill of this family plays a crucial role in the quality of this finished product, and we're excited to be able to bring it to Australia.
